Fläckar och tecken - moln vandring is an exhibition conceived as a living, ongoing organism. Moving between marks, spots, letters, words, and sentences. Pontus works through an artistic proposition that makes space for the different processes and directions within his practice. 

As a glimpse into his year-long residency at Index, the exhibition functions almost as a window — both into and out of — Pontus’ ongoing artistic work. It offers a space where different parts of his practice can unfold, overlap, and transform in relation to one another. 

Pontus works with language and materiality, history and context, as well as specific moments and objects that enter his practice in different ways. He is interested in processes of inhabiting, transformation, poetry, and movement, allowing these interests to take shape through an ever-changing constellation of materials, gestures, and ideas. Rather than presenting a fixed or finished body of work, Fläckar och tecken - moln vandring invites the audience to follow the work as it develops — in a continuous flow, where things appear, shift, connect, and disappear again.
