Open Call - Höjdenfestivalen 2026
This year's theme is Remix!
A remix of a song, a poem, a dance piece, a painting, a film or a remix across mediums.
We are looking for your remix - of something that inspires you, of someone else’s work, of your best or worst art experience, of a historical piece, of your own work…

Höjdenfestivalen presents works by members of Höjden. Not a member yet? This is your sign!
There will be basic sound and light set up in the studio (in-house equipment) but more specific technical needs will be up to each artist to organize.
We also ask all participating artists to sign up for a volunteer shift.
This festival is presenting works of Höjden members only. If you know someone interested in becoming a member of the house and joining the festival- spread the word!
There will be a symbolic fee for participation in the festival. Like previous year, we have a designated budget for fees that will be divided between the festival's acts, so the exact amount will be decided when the line up is set.
Confirmation of your participation will be sent latest 14th September.
Höjdenfestivalen is an annual festival where members of Höjden present artworks in various formats for the public. With a dynamic program that invites conversation, exchange and reflection, the festival manifests the breadth and quality of Höjden's artists. The first version was held in April 2024, the second in November 2025 with around 40 acts. The third edition is planned for November 2026, and is organized by artists who are members of Höjden.
